About Our Pastor
Glen Yoder has been the Pastor of Bible Baptist Church for the last fifteen years. Before taking over Bible Baptist, Pastor Yoder pastored Community Baptist Church in Emden, MO for 22 years. He married his wife Mrs. Ida on June 5, 1973. They have recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Together they had five children and adopted two more. They have children and grandchildren serving in the ministry to this day in South Dakota, Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. Pastor Yoder was saved in 1979 from the Amish religion by the influence of a soul winner named Carl Hasty. God by his grace guided Glen and Ida, along with six other formerly Amish families, into the Philadelphia Baptist Church pastored by Tim Stowe. Pastor Stowe trained Pastor Yoder and instilled in him a heart for the ministry and God’s people. Pastor Yoder has been faithful to God for many years, and his leadership at Bible Baptist Church has made a positive impact on many lives.
Our Assistant Pastor
Tanner Toops graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College In May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies. At the same time Bible Baptist Church voted to add Bro. Tanner as the new Assistant Pastor to Pastor Yoder. He was saved at the age of 11 after being convicted about his relationship with God, however; during his teenage years he began to run away from God. In 2019 one of Pastor Yoder’s grandchildren invited him to go to a youth conference where he finally surrendered his life to God. After that, Pastor Yoder took him under his wing and encouraged Bro. Tanner to go to Bible College. He followed God’s leadership and has since returned to Bible Baptist Church. On September 1st of 2023 Bro. Tanner married his wife Ashlee and they have since welcomed the birth of their first daughter Clara.
